Interop audit, 2026-10-24.
Marks ignore the person's default mark type. NeoKOM's "Spara" marks every text with type 100 (
main_view/mod.rs,kom.mark(t, 100)). Thecommonblock hasdefault-mark("The default mark to set on marked texts",Protocol-A.texi), which the Emacs client sets and uses. People who sort their marks by type in Emacs find NeoKOM's marks under 100, not under their own type.Options:
default-markwhen set, else 100 (least surprise). Also to decide: whether "Sparade" lists marks of every type, or only ours.
We'll leave it as is for now. If it becomes an issue win the future we will return to it.
Closed as decided (D-071): marks stay type 100. Reopen if it becomes an issue.
