The biggest barrier for new users is vocabulary: channel, post, reply, inbox and reaction instead of möte, inlägg, kommentar, brevlåda and snabbkommentar. The full table is in docs/ROADMAP.md.
What:
Blocked on the user: roadmap question 2. Should modern be the default, with classic as a setting, or the other way round?
Done when:
From docs/ROADMAP.md, 0.2 "Feels like an app".
Decided (D-030): modern words are the default. User: "Modern words are best. I intend for this client to be easy to use for anyone." The classic terms stay as a setting, on automatically for users with elisp settings.
Merged in #78 (CI run #117 green). Modern words by default in sv and en (app/src/words.rs); 'words' in our user-area block, settings page choice applied at once; unset = classic for users with an elisp block. Tests: unit tests for the table and the elisp default; words.spec.ts switches to classic, checks it after a new login, switches back; all specs now use the modern labels.
