How it fits. The event system owns the table and the schedule; seats are the existing sitting spots, and the songs are generated voices. The toastmaster is a player role with a few prompts. The dinner itself is props and timing, not a cooking system. Dress code can come from the shop, but a plain version must work.

Scope.

A long table at a hall, with place cards and a seating plan.
A toastmaster role and a few ceremonial prompts.
Songs between courses, with the room joining in.
A formal dress option and a loaner version.
A short version for a small group.

Related. #68 (fika), #204 (karaoke), #224 (Lucia), #199 (meetups).

A sittning is the formal heart of Swedish student life: a long table, a dinner, songs at every pause, a toastmaster and a lot of rules about when you may leave your seat. It is the most social thing the campus can host, and it is mostly ceremony rather than content. **How it fits.** The event system owns the table and the schedule; seats are the existing sitting spots, and the songs are generated voices. Closing as not planned. This is not something the project cares about.
