The event picker is a server-wide vote. Sometimes you want to say "bike polo at the pitch at seven" and have people show up. A campus calendar lets a player post a meetup with a place and a time, and others RSVP. The calendar hangs at Kårallen and appears in the HUD, so the campus has a social schedule instead of only spontaneous encounters.

How it fits. The server already owns a clock and a catalog; a meetup is a small user-created entry with a place chosen from baked landmarks. The client already has a map and labels, so a meetup can become a temporary marker. No new simulation: arrival and attendance are derived from poses, exactly like event participation.

Scope.

  • Create a meetup with a title, a landmark and a time.
  • RSVP, cancel and a small attendee list.
  • Show upcoming meetups in the HUD and on the map.
  • A physical calendar board at Kårallen.
  • Rate-limit creation and expire old entries.

Related. #173 (duels), #198 (party), #200 (records), #206 (spectating).
