From the 0.4 roadmap ("Find your people"). Goal: a newcomer finds where the life is.

A directory of all channels, sortable by activity (last written; posts per week), members and name, with a search-as-you-type filter.
Recommended first: the server's recommended-conf aux items (29), on the server info.
Join with one tap (add-member), and leave from the same place.
Each entry shows the name, member count, when it was last written, and the start of its presentation.
Secret and closed channels are marked, and only listed where the server lets us see them.

Protocol: lookup-z-name with an empty name lists every channel, and get-uconf-stat/get-conf-stat give members and last written. Kom.lysator has thousands of channels, so the details are fetched lazily for what's on screen and cached for the session, never all at once (D-007). "Posts per week" is estimated from no-of-texts and the dates of a sample, with the method noted in the code.

Phone: a "Kanaler" view (the tab bar has room for it, or a button in Olästa). Desktop: in the left column next to the unread list.

Merged in #165.

'Alla kanaler' under Inkorg (under Olästa on a phone) and in the palette.
Every channel, recommended first, with a filter as you type.
Members and last written for the rows shown. Sorting by those fetches the rest once, 8 calls at a time, on request.
Gå med / Gå ur, and a tap enters the channel.

Verified: channels.spec on desktop, Android and iPhone; the full suite locally; CI green.
