Campus Valla has a real 18-hole disc golf course --
Rydskogens Discgolfbana-- and the whole of it is in the extract. Nothing reads
disc_golf=*today.The hole ways are already named (
Hole 12,Alternate route hole 11,Hole 11- Short layout), so the short-layout variant is mapped alongside themain one. The course is also a relation (
type=disc_golf_course, 40 nodes +21 ways) but the features do not need the relation parser -- they are plain
nodes and ways with
disc_golftags.Suggested shape: tees and baskets as a new prop kind (the basket needs to be a
collidable target for the throw, not a box), fairways as an area, hole lines as
a centreline per hole.
Data only. The throw mechanic is #11.

sport=disc_golfis on a pitchClean split: data only, no throw mechanic, and the features are plain nodes/ways rather than a relation dependency. Tees and baskets as a new prop kind and fairways as areas is exactly the bake pattern, and it is testable without gameplay. Worth doing early.
The basket model landed. It is bound to the wrong tag.
PROP_DISC_GOLFis now a modelled disc golf basket, a pole with a basket and its chains. Butnode_prop_kindgives that kind to a node taggedleisure=disc_golf_course, and this extract has exactly one such node, so the model in the world is one basket at the course's representative node rather than the 19 real ones. The 19
disc_golf=basketnodes and the 16disc_golf=teenodes are still baked as nothing, and the rest of the issue is open as well: the tees want their own prop, the 16disc_golf=fairwayways want to be areas, and the 19disc_golf=holeways want to be a centreline per hole. The hole ways are named, so the short-layout variant comes with them.Don't really care
