area_kind maps every leisure=pitch to AREA_PITCH, so a grass
soccer pitch, an asphalt basketball court and a synthetic running track are one
green decal each. The sport tag says which is which:

  1  soccer;athletics        1  tennis               1  fitness
  1  boules                  1  ice_skating;running;athletics

And the surfaces differ just as much: surface=grass on the soccer pitches,
asphalt on basketball and ice hockey, artificial_turf on one
soccer;basketball, gravel on the boules court.

AREA_PITCH is already a ladder entry in mesh::AREA_HEIGHTS, so a
PITCH_ASPHAULT / PITCH_ARTIFICIAL sibling is cheap. leisure=track (2, one
named Isovalen as a relation) is a separate shape entirely and wants its own
kind.

Field markings per sport would be a follow-up; the surface and kind first.
