Campus is covered in surfaces that want marks: whiteboards in group rooms, chalkboards in old lecture halls, pavement outside. A simple drawing tool would let players leave a diagram, a joke, a route or a welcome. It is the lowest-effort social object, and it makes a room feel used.

How it fits. Rooms and props are baked; a whiteboard is a surface with a stable id. Strokes are a small list of points and a color, sent once and persisted by the server. Pavement chalk is the same drawing on a ground decal. The renderer already draws lines and decals, so no new pipeline is needed.

Scope.

  • A draw mode with a few brush widths and colors.
  • Whiteboards on group-room walls and chalk on pavements.
  • A clear and erase interaction, rate-limited.
  • Persist per surface, capped and expired.
  • Offline drawings stay local.

Related. #171 (guestbook), #207 (escape room), #225 (ghost stories).
