The library is one of the few campus interiors where doing nothing is the point. A borrowable book, a bench, a rainy afternoon and a page of text is a quiet feature that makes the interior worth entering, and a late return is a funny little civic duty.
How it fits. A bookshelf is already a prop; borrowing is an interaction that attaches a book to the player and shows a short text page. The book returns to the shelf on return or after a loan period. The text can be a few public-domain excerpts or campus-authored notes, stored with the book, not as a new asset pipeline.
