The skateboard is in the game, but it is only a fast way to get downhill. A trick system gives it a vocabulary: ollie, spin, flip, manual, grind. Air time and rotation come from the board's state; a ledge or a rail under the deck starts a grind; a bad landing bails. A combo score turns the campus into a skate spot, and a session board at the skate area gives people something to beat.

How it fits. liuverse-sim::vehicle already steps the board and exposes its pose and wheel phase; liuverse-scene draws the deck. Trick detection is arithmetic over the board's height, rotation and contact, not a physics engine. Rails and ledges can come from barriers, benches and the baked props, with a small curated set of grind lines.

Scope.

  • Input gestures for ollie, spin and flip; a bail state.
  • Grind detection on a curated set of edges, with a spark and a sound.
  • Combo multiplier, a session score and a local board.
  • A slow-motion beat for a big combo, if the replay feature exists.
  • Keep the board's existing handling; tricks are additive.

Related. #200 (records), #196 (replay), #173 (duels).
