Events end and the scoreboard disappears. A records board keeps the campus's best: fastest Isovalen lap, most goals in a match, longest skydive, top skate combo, best Grand Prix lap, the first person to find every geocache. It is a physical notice board and a HUD page, and it gives every activity a long tail.

How it fits. Most records are already derived from poses and event scores; the missing piece is a small persistent store keyed by record kind. The board is a baked notice board with generated text, like a guestbook page. The server owns writes, so a record cannot be claimed by a client.

Scope.

  • A record kind per activity, with a value, a holder and a time.
  • Server-side validation from poses, scores and event results.
  • A physical board at Kårallen and a HUD page.
  • A new-record announcement to nearby players.
  • A reset for a new season, if the campus wants one.

Related. #173 (duels), #179 (Grand Prix), #180 (skate), #196 (replay), #201 (passport), #202 (newspaper).
