The avatar can dance and sit, but it cannot touch another player. High fives, hugs and piggyback rides are the physical vocabulary of a friendly campus. They are also the cheapest way to make a multiplayer space feel warm: two people have to agree, and the animation says so.

How it fits. The avatar already has an IK rig and a pose blend in liuverse-world::avatar and liuverse-frame; a social interaction is a paired pose with a short lock. The request and acceptance are tiny messages, like a duel challenge. A piggyback is a seat on another player, which the vehicle seat code already understands as a transform.

Scope.

  • A contextual prompt when facing a nearby player.
  • High five, hug and piggyback, each with a request and accept step.
  • Paired poses that blend in and out; no new skeleton.
  • A piggyback rider follows the carrier's pose and can hop off.
  • Consent: no interaction without acceptance.
