The campus is full of trees, lawns and water, and nothing lives in them. Squirrels on the paths, rabbits in the reserve, ducks on the water and birds on the wires would make the place feel alive. They should react to players: scatter, settle, and come back.
How it fits. The bake already knows the habitats: forest, reserve, orchard, water, lawns. A small agent system with a spawn point, a wander path and a flee radius is enough; no pathfinding graph is needed. The animals are instanced primitives or simple models, and their audio is positional. No wire traffic: each client seeds the same population from the world.
Scope.
