Screenshots are a debug tool. A photo mode is a social one: a countdown, a free camera in a small orbit around the group, the HUD gone, everyone posed, and a shutter that saves a real image. The interesting part is the group shot — a photo of four people on the seesaw is a reason to be in the same place. Keep the album on the client, and add an optional frame in Kårallen that shows the latest shots from the server.

How it fits. liuverse-render already owns the HDR present pass, which is where a readback belongs; liuverse-frame already describes a camera and an avatar pose. Photo mode is a camera state plus an input layer, not a second renderer. Online, the countdown is a small server message so every client poses and holds still for the same instant; the world keeps running, but the shot is synchronized.

Scope.

Enter and leave photo mode, hide the HUD, and orbit or zoom within a radius.
A pose chooser that reuses the emote and stance vocabulary.
A countdown for a group shot, with a visible timer and a shutter flash.
PNG readback on native, download on the web; no upload by default.
Optional album frame at Kårallen, with explicit consent before upload.
