A drone is a different kind of flight: fast, twitchy, low to the ground, and seen through a grainy camera feed. A set of gates around campus turns it into a time trial. It is a toy, not a vehicle, and it gives the vertical campus a competitive use.
How it fits. The sim already has a flying body and a camera; a drone is a small physics body with a throttle, a tilt and a camera feed. Gates are authored rings; a pass is a plane crossing, like the goal test in
liuverse-sim::throw. The feed is the same scene rendered at a lower resolution with a vignette and scanlines.Scope.
