Bikes, a ball and goals are already in the game. Bike polo is the obvious sport: two teams, a mallet, a goal at each end, and a lot of clumsy turning. It is slower and funnier than football, and it gives the pitch a second use.

How it fits. The pitch and goals are baked, the ball is already a projectile, and the bicycle is a vehicle with a steering model. A mallet is a held prop with a swing arc; a hit is an impulse on the ball, not a physics-engine constraint. The match clock, teams and scoreboard can reuse the event system with a team field.

Scope.

  • A mallet item and a swing that only affects the ball.
  • Two teams, a goal at each end, and a match clock.
  • Bike-only participation; on foot you can spectate or referee.
  • A scoreboard with team colors.
  • Keep the ball's existing flight model; no rapier required.

Related. #173 (duels), #199 (meetups), #200 (records), #217 (games room).
